best plants for a house

This handsome heart-leaf philodendron has beautiful splashes of lime-yellow variegation on its otherwise green leaves to add even more life to your room! The tropical plant reflects sunlight beautifully, and it prefers bright, indirect light. It's a relatively low-maintenance plant, so it'll bounce back even if you occasionally forget to water it.

Air Plant

There are two popular large groups grown as indoor houseplants — desert and forest cacti, both requiring very little attention. If proper conditions are provided, they can produce little flowers of different colors. Named for its hole-filled leaves that result a slice of Swiss cheese, this voluminous plant develops large, glossy leaves with the right care routine.

General Indoor Plant Growing Tips

Desert cacti will benefit from bright and direct light, watering when the soil begins to dry, and hot and dry conditions. Adding a few indoor plants is one of the quickest ways to inject some personality, color, and feng shui vibes into your home. As far as design refreshes go, houseplants are much more affordable than a new throw blanket or accent chair. And beyond their invigorating energy and color, the best indoor plants have health benefits. Air-purifying plants can help filter harmful chemicals out of the air you and your family breathe, and being around plants can help lower your anxiety and stress levels. This shamrock-shaped plant has something of a Lazarus effect for how it responds to distress, extremes in temperature, and those weeks you get neglectful with your watering.

Heartleaf Philodendron (Philodendron Hederaceum)

Pothos comes in various colors and bicolors, including dark green, chartreuse, white-and-green, yellow-and-green, and spotted silver. One of the best low-light indoor plant varieties, philodendron, is very tolerant of dark interiors. This fast-growing vine works well in hanging baskets or can be trained to climb a small trellis or totem. The 'Brasil' variety has gorgeous gold-and-green variegated foliage, while 'Micans' sports purple-flushed leaves with a satin-like texture. Fiddle leaf fig, Ficus lyrata, is a pricey plant that can be a little fickle – it has a habit of dropping its leaves if it’s not happy. This could be due to dry air, under- or overwatering, under- or over feeding, or sudden changes in temperature.

Their woody stems and plump round leaves are slow-growing but hardy and easy to propagate. Long known as “mother-in-law’s tongues,” the snake plant, or Sansevieria trifasciata, features tall leaves that grow vertically.

What are the different types of bungalows?

Regardless of origin, these plans provided fodder for the dream of home ownership to hundreds of thousands of Americans. In the succeeding decades, as fashions have come and gone, many of these houses continue to charm us. “Small can be cozy, but it can also feel a bit tight, especially if you’ve got a big family,” Rohani admits. Abcarian points out that the limited space can be especially challenging in the kitchen, which many view as the heart of the home. “Older kitchens are smaller than what we’ve come to think of as normal and functional,” she notes.

From there, other varieties of bungalows quickly popped up throughout the country, each with its own aesthetic and set of quintessential characteristics. Which is why, as we mentioned above, the word bungalow is difficult to define. Because of the wide range of requirements throughout states and municipalities, it is possible that the plans may not have all of the information required by your building department.

On the exterior, expect to see a low-pitched roof with gables and dormers, covered porches with wide overhanging eaves, and plenty of rustic charm from natural finishes like stone and wood. Another defining feature of bungalow floor plans is the wide front porch.

We work with hundreds of designers and architects who work in a variety of styles. Were popularized over a century ago, and are currently enjoying a new life in our time. These styles offers beauty and strong, meaningful design elements that announce and nurture at the same time. Mark Stewart Bungalow House Plans have been very popular particularly on in-fill lots in the heart of the city. Bungalow floor plans are known for their efficient use of space and open floor plans, making them ideal for smaller families or empty nesters. The term bungalow is a derivative of the word Bengali, originated in India, and was used to describe a home in the Bengal style.

He advertised widely in many of the national publications of the day including House Beautiful. (A typical ad from a 1914 House Beautiful is shown above.) According to the US Census, Stillwell was a practicing architect until at least 1930. Berman is a fan of bungalows for their indoor-outdoor living capabilities.

These homes are smaller in size and carry over many of the aesthetics of Craftsman homes, only on a more stripped-down scale. These houses often feature offset porches, simple front lawns, and a single story that spreads out the rooms to maximize space. The modern-style bungalow is very popular with many amenities that homeowners are looking for such as open floor plans, walk-in closets, and larger kitchens. Bungalow-style home plans are just as great for vacation homes as they are for permanent residences. A departure from the simplicity of most bungalow styles, Tudor bungalows are whimsical and detailed in their designs, recalling medieval and fairytale architecture.

We specialize in Modern Designs, Farmhouse Plans, Rustic Lodge Style and Small Home Design. All of our plans are customizable so just let us know if you’d like to add on a garage, extra room, basement or ADU. The best layout for a bungalow will depend on individual preferences and needs, but some fundamental design principles can help create a functional and comfortable space. Bungalows can be found all over the world, from Bangladesh and India to the United Kingdom and the United States. Here in the US, there are far more bungalows in the Midwest and West Coast regions than there are anywhere else in the country. “They are usually grouped together, making exceptionally charming neighborhoods,” Abcarian says.

Summer House Season 8, Episode 10 Recap: 'A World of Pain'

house season 8

The platform is notable for smash successes like "Stranger Things" and "The Witcher," to name a few. "The Witcher" just premiered its long-anticipated Season 2 to widely appreciated responses. In addition to these titles, Netflix also has many new and exciting projects slated for 2022. One of these projects is a new animated series entitled "The House." This limited series is different in a couple different ways from Netflix's more successful ventures. He has little patience for patients, but misanthropic Gregory House is a brilliant diagnostician who probes life-and-death medical mysteries while 'CSI'-style graphics follow each disease's progression. 'X-Men' director Bryan Singer is one of the executive producers.

Mid-Season Finale Part 1

The alien party continues, and when it moves into the house, Danielle and Gabby sit on a couch together. Danielle immediately starts grilling her about her love life (or lack of it). The second episode takes place during the present day and is directed by Niki Lindroth von Bahr. This houseguest is a property developer and finds that the house has been infested. The last episode is directed by Paloma Baeza, and it looks to take place during an end-times scenario. Jen (Helena Bonham-Carter) is attempting to fix up the house in a desolate landscape.

Batman: The Animated Series

Foreman offers him a promotion to stay, but Chase feels that he has to get out of House's shadow once and for all and leaves the hospital. A six-year-old girl (Rachel Eggleston) with a rare genetic disorder (Ataxia Telangiectasia) is admitted to the hospital after suffering a nosebleed and losing consciousness. Foreman has the team consult with her mother (Jessica Collins) who is also an expert in her daughter's condition. Meanwhile, Wilson decides on a radical and potentially fatal course of treatment for his cancer, which House agrees to administer himself.

What is the plot of The House?

Gabby is gorgeous, funny, and can’t flip over a couch without crashing to the floor. Some guy is going to pursue her just the way she wants, but it’s going to take more time. Yes, I love sluts, and if I were born a straight woman, I would be giving it away to every man who asks. Danielle isn’t that slutty, but I love that she is in a promiscuous phase, not taking any flack from anyone about it and doing herself (and others!) loud and proud. Not only did she hook up the night before going to the Hamptons, she met some hot-ass dudes at the club and invited them to the party the next day.

With his life crumbling around him, House hallucinates people from his past (Braugher, Dudek, Morrison, Penn, Tamblyn, Ward) as he decides whether his life is worth living anymore. Back at PPTH, Foreman settles into Cuddy's old job, and Chase succeeds House as director of diagnostic medicine, with Adams and Park as his new team. Meanwhile, Taub dines with Rachel, Ruby, and his daughters, and a re-married Cameron has become a mother and chief of a Chicago emergency room. Mounting motorcycles together, House offers to help make Wilson's last months of life liveable. The pattern I didn’t recognize until Paige pointed it out is that Danielle always has opinions on how everyone else is living but doesn’t want people to comment on her life.

A man suffering from early-onset familial Alzheimer's disease (Ivo Nandi) begins vomiting, and is admitted to the hospital, with his wife (Melanie Lynskey) taking care of him. He soon develops aggression and language loss, but the team find it difficult to distinguish his new symptoms from his Alzheimer's. Meanwhile, House and Wilson keep betting on what is causing a woman's apparent asexuality and Foreman debates whether or not he should petition House's parole officer to remove his ankle monitor early. The next morning after sending Ballon Guy on his way, Danielle comes to Gabby’s room to talk.

Below Deck Season 11, Episode 13 Preview: A New Chef Arrives

I’m not saying one of these is right, or one of these is wrong, but if someone lands a hot tradesman at a party for a one-night stand, it will be Danielle. Gabby says, “What’s not going to happen is me versus Danielle for a dude who blows up balloons as a hobby.” Well, he does it for a living, but still. This is not a guy that Gabby would ever take seriously for marriage, and it seems like that is what she is out for. She does not want a bit of rough in an inflatable UFO in the backyard. Neither one is right nor wrong, but I don’t think Gabby can get upset that Danielle swooped in when she has a much different approach.

Lindsay is at the club asking West if he thinks it will go past the summer. Ciara’s manager Derek is like “What are your intentions with my girl? ” Paige and Amanda are talking about West to Ciara as he’s trying to sneak into their room as an alien and scare them. She’s so ready to tell other people how to live their lives.

house season 8

She shows up in Princeton with her new fiance, Thomas Bell, a man who House has believed for forty years was his biological father. At a cathartic dinner, House reveals his immigration wife (which Bell supports given the U.S. immigration system) and his stint in prison (which his mother knew about from reading the Princeton newspapers). She also admits she and Bell got married shortly after John House died. House finally confronts her about Bell, and she admits she deceived both of them. However, Wilson is too tempted and tests Bell's DNA - he's not House's biological father either.

He comes over to set up the party and Lindsay introduces him to Danielle, who says “Hi” in her scroungy outfit wearing a tin-foil hat looking like a fool who just work up in someone else’s tent at a music festival. Lindsay calls over Gabby, but she doesn’t come because she’s not looking hot enough. “If we’re going to tell people years from now our first meeting, it’s not going to be that I met him sweaty, exhausted, and setting up for a party,” she says in confessional. One is that, because of this set up, everyone is all up in their business.

However, it turns out that he didn't even try to get a lesser sentence and took a one-year term without complaint. He blows a chance for early parole in order to prove a fellow patient's diagnosis. Although he plans to withdraw from the practice of medicine, it appears the real co-dependent relationship is between House and the hospital. With House looking at serving at least another six months, the new Dean of Medicine, Eric Foreman approaches House with an offer to return to work. I actually peeped him at the last party when he was setting up balloons. Lindsay did, too, and befriended him enough that they invited him to do more balloons for the alien party and wanted to introduce him to Danielle and Gabby.

Meanwhile, he takes the case of a clinic patient (Julie Mond), a nun on the verge of making her vows, when she begins vomiting and exhibiting neurological symptoms. During the course of her treatment, he develops feelings for her which compromise his objectivity. In a subplot, House subjects Taub to a series of prankish 'ambushes' in order to prove to him, in light of Chase's stabbing, that nobody can fully prepare for the unexpected.

When she leaves him to return to be a nun, Chase decides to return to the team. House is put on a short leash, and the hospital lacks the funding to provide him with a proper team. Park is his only employee, and House must convince Adams and other doctors to donate their services to help him.

house season 8

Eleven months after driving his car into Cuddy's house, three of which were spent on the run and the other eight in prison, House goes before the parole board and learns he has only five days left before he is released. This perfectly illustrates the different ways Danielle and Gabby roll. Danielle is just herself; she shows that she can hang out and likes a good time. As soon as Joe shows up at the party, she is on him like mayo on a lobster roll. Gabby is the kind of girl who would have watched Sex and the City and ordered that book The Rules. She needs to see their credit score before she goes out on a third date.

The three episodes of "The House" are in the style of an anthology. Each episode is directed by a different director and a different host of characters. While the characters change, each story revolves around the titular house at different times in chronological order.

Ciara tells the girls that she needs to know how West feels about her before she has sex with him. I mean, I don’t really need to know that, but I am nosy, and I want to hear about West’s sex life. With the three-episode structure for the series, there are many roles voiced by notable actors.

Danielle thinks Gabby’s got no game

In the new season, “Summer should be fun, and our favorite housemates seem poised to indulge in the most carefree summer yet. But while some relationships start to take off, others are revealed to be more fractured than anyone could have imagined, according to a description from Bravo. With prison looming, House hatches a number of crazy schemes in an attempt to stay out of jail long enough to be with Wilson during the last months of his life.

Tom Sandoval Says This One Person "Is One of the Coolest MotherF—ers On the Planet"

However, House initially tries to reconnect with Thirteen, he finally sends her off with her girlfriend to live in Greece. House accepts the offer and gets out of prison, eventually reconnecting with a doctor who worked in the infirmary who he's made unemployable, Jessica Adams. With one new team member established, he soon meets a bright but timid resident, Chi Park, and adds her to his growing entourage of no-cost doctors as well. He receives a cold welcome from James Wilson, but after a cathartic punch to the nose, the two men reconnect.

However, shortly after Fox's announcement, Robert Sean Leonard, Peter Jacobson, and Omar Epps agreed to new contracts. Jesse Spencer was in negotiations longer, but finally agreed to a new contract. However, Lisa Edelstein announced she would not be returning and instead joined the cast of The Good Wife. Meanwhile, House confronts his insecurities when his hooker/companion decides to leave him. An independent blind man (Michael B. Jordan) is admitted to the hospital after suffering auditory hallucinations, and soon begins coughing up blood. However, his treatment could leave him more disabled than before.

The Crew Has Questions for Barbie Pascual and Kyle Stillie

Not only that, the mothers choose the names Sophie and Sophia. In addition, Rachel announces that she wants to move to Seattle with her new boyfriend Phil and take Sophia with them. Returning characters for this season include House's wife, Dominika Petrova, his favourite prostitute, Emily, and almost all the main/guest characters that left the show. When the hospital's coroner (Jamie Elman) begins slicing his own scalp open, he is admitted but will only accept medical care personally decided on by House.

Eventually, House comes to terms with Wilson's choice and the two start to plan for their last few months together. At that point, Foreman drops a bombshell - because of a disastrous prank, House has to go back to jail for the next six months. Both his ex-wife and ex-girlfriend are furious with him, and he's on the hook for two child support payments and one alimony payment.

Season Finale

The first episode is directed by Emma de Swaef and Marc James Roels. This story revolves around a family that moves into the house in the 19th century. However, when treating a chemistry teacher, Chase and Adams are in the room when the patient suffers a psychotic break. In the melee, Chase is badly stabbed and the life-saving surgery nearly costs him the use of his legs as well. He takes a lengthy leave of absence and, when he returns, has an inappropriate relationship with a patient.

In early 2012, it was confirmed that this season was House's last, and it would have a "swan song" episode (a two hour finale consisting of a retrospective and the series finale). The finale was co-written and directed by series creator David Shore. The last few episodes focused heavily on a Hilson story line. Olivia Wilde, Kal Penn, Anne Dudek, Sela Ward, Amber Tamblyn, and Jennifer Morrison also returned for the finale. Production of Season 8 was somewhat delayed and the season did not begin airing until October 3, 2011. Part of the issue was that without a firm deal to continue the series, NBCUniversal only had Hugh Laurie and Olivia Wilde under contract to appear in any following season.

house season 8

But things turn bad when in a fit of psychosis and violence, the patient stabs Chase, ultimately forcing the team into a race against time as they battle to keep Chase alive in the ER. As the patient is going to be transferred, House realizes his syndrome and informs his wife. As he is on the hearing with Dr. Cofield, he is prepared to send House to prison again, but the wife of the patient arrives and thanks him for his correct treatment. Dr. Cofield sets him free, but House berates him for his cowardice as it was obvious that he would have been arrested, so he let him loose to avoid media attention.

Immigration gives them one more chance, but it means they have to live together for real. To House's surprise, he enjoys spending time with Dominika and when her citizenship is granted, he keeps this knowledge from her so she will stay. House starts the year in prison, serving out a long term for his various misdeeds in Moving On.

Graphics: A History of Design and Activism in California

1990s graphic design

The 90s rave posters were powerful and evocative when it came to breaking the rules of design. The end of the 80s in Chicago brought acid house, a music genre that quickly expanded around the world. The word rave was used to describe the subculture that revolved around the acid house music genre.

Exit Brush & SVG Font (SVG, OTF, TTF)

On the one hand, we had the underground rock and rave culture influences, and on the other hand – the bright and optimistic pop culture style. One was messy and distressed, and the other one looked neat and sugar-sweet. We have created a mood board below of multiple images taken from around the web that we think could give anyone an idea of how the 90s looked graphic-wise.

Flannel, long hair, grunge music, Seattle – the 1992 film “Singles” covered it all. We hope that after reading this post you understand a little more about what the 90s trend really is, where it came from and how it has become such a well-loved trend today. Or, for more trend related content, read up on the Pantone Color Trends for Fall 2020, our Mid Year Trend Review for 2020, or our Marketing Trends Predictions for 2021 on the Elements Blog. It features experimental layouts, exaggerations, distortion, and distorted objects and elements deemed as “ugly” to protest beauty and perfection.

While Seattle was the focus of the grunge music scene, it was further down on the West Coast that would have the greatest impact on graphic design in the 1990s. Always a leader in cool and casual style—thanks to its surf heritage and reputation for laidback living—California was made for the mellow 90s. On the other side of the spectrum, neons, trippy typography, and drug-inspired smiley designs defined the look of clubbing culture in the early years of the 90s. Acid House, Rave, and Electronica music played the high-octane counterpart to grunge’s laidback mood. The first half of the 90s saw an evolution of some of the design styles that had been popular during the previous decade—the bold and brash 1980s. Computer software (hello Photoshop 1.0) also contributed to the experimental attitude of the decade.

Similar to anti-design, this movement took on a similar rebellious approach and rejected preconceived notions of what it meant to create a ‘good design’. In terms of design elements, bold typography, dark backgrounds, abstract patterns and textures as well as neon designs became integral to graphic design at the time. This was done in order to capture the popular underground rave scene and culture.

What was part of Euro Disney’s corporate design?

Today, the focus is on usability, templates, and an attractive visual language for visitors, but during the 1990s, it was all about frivolity and superstructures. There was “brutalism” in the aesthetic, which is neither easy to navigate nor visually appealing but is an honest and raw look. It was during this time that Photoshop 1.0 (exclusively for Macintosh) was created, and thus, graphic design was never the same again. Carson’s brand of “grunge graphic design” is considered one of the turning points in graphic design history, allowing designers the freedom to create impactful designs without the restrictions of grids, legible fonts, or neatly-framed images. We hope you enjoyed our roundup of the top 90s design trends making a comeback in 2020! If you want more where this came from, check out this awesome 90s Design Trends Collection on Envato Elements.

The grunge and anti-design styles of the 90s completely broke the rules of aesthetics. The 1990s graphic design was influenced heavily by the prevailing fashion statements, music genres and bold vibrant colors. It was a period of experimenting with different designs, including graffiti, and throwing out the classic rules. Creative fonts also came into existence, and found widespread use in both electronic and print media. If you're looking to include 90s graphic design in your graphic creations, consider using CorelDRAW. You'd see this type of font in a 90s candy logo design or 90s cartoon logo.

Celestino Piatti: Plakate Posters, DTV, München, 1992

1990s graphic design

The first logos designed by S/P featured the words ‘Euro’ and ‘Disney’, underlined by a green stripe. The term ‘Euro’ was realized in red, using a variation of the ‘Futura Extra Bold’ font. In front of these words, there was either a drawing of Mickey Mouse or a yellow square with the silhouette of its head and ears. In the late eighties, S/P was asked by the Walt Disney Company to create a corporate design for their European project because their work for the Walt Disney World Resort had been highly successful and popular among guests. On April 11, 1992, an article published in the Los Angeles Times stated that “Euro Disney is, well, California”.

To reflect the loved-up atmosphere of the underground raves, party promoters would create eye-catching neon flyers depicting drug-inspired smiley designs and unconventional typography layouts. Fun patterns and vibrant colors were very popular and nowadays the Memphis patterns are the most representative graphics for the 90s on the internet. If you do a simple search of the 90s design trend, you will see a lot of colorful patterns with an emphasis on geometrical and abstract shapes. Lots of 90s rave posters had busy backgrounds and needed a good font to keep the content legible. Origin is a 90s aesthetic font, grotesque and condensed, creating a strong association with 90s graphic design. The pack comes with nine weights, so you'll be covered with such a wide variety.

Post-nostalgia stress syndrome for the 1990s—a curious love/hate relationship with grunge type—is finally kicking in just as the first decade of 2000 is coming to a close. It is time for design pundits to start looking forward, but not before looking back at the past 10 years in order to neatly categorize and define the design aesthetic of the era (assuming this can be labeled an era). Actually, I’m putting my dibs in to be the first to offer some viable categorization. What’s more I hold that fairness is not an issue when staking out one’s pundit-turf.

Here are several pieces of his experimental graphic design – a distressed look that is hardly understandable. Ray Gun was an American alternative rock-and-roll magazine that was first published in 1992 in Santa Monica, California. If you're pressed for time and looking for 90s logo design templates, make sure to check out Envato Elements and GraphicRiver for amazing assets. By the mid-1980s, new digital tools were completing typography's process of dematerialization. When the ITU dissolved in 1986 — amid a much broader neoliberal attack on organized labor — it had been the longest-running union in the United States.

No matter which side of the aesthetic or philosophical divide one was on, this was a critically exciting time to be a graphic designer. Although the computer was the dominant medium, during the early ’90s designers were transitioning from the hand to the pixel, experiencing all the visual quirks and anomalies that came with technological unease. By the end of the decade and the beginning of the 21st century, despite the Y2K-end-of-civilization hoopla, the computer was firmly entrenched in the lives of designers, and not only was there an aesthetic calming down, but a frenetic media migration. Designers were relying on the computer not only for clean, crisp and flaw-free print work, they were turning from the printed page to video, audio and other motion and sound formats.

Explore the 90s design trends that are making a mark on the design world right now. Designers have become more experimental in their use of anti-grid layouts and becoming more playful with using a mix of analog and digital design to make a more dynamic 3D effect. Tearing up paper, scanning and warping prints and textures and pushing these further in Photoshop creates a standout aesthetic that is less traditionally user friendly and more punk.

With tie-dye set to be an influential trend in design for the year ahead, the Cali-cool aesthetic of the 1990s is back in vogue for 2021. Bold, clashing colors, busy interfaces, and off-grid typography “define” Anti-Design. Grunge origins are tied to graffiti art, skateboarding, and punk music. This style appeared in the 80s and it was very representative of what certain music genres were all about and what the style was. Can I get a refund on my Royal Caribbean cruise?

The restart plan builds upon the ships that have either already resumed sailings, or are scheduled to later this summer. In conjunction with the restart plan announcement, Royal Caribbean also announced a new series of cruise cancellations to make way for the restart. The type of cruise fare deposit on the reservation and timing of the decision to cancel will ultimately dictate how much of a refund you will receive. Whether you are flat out cancelling the reservation or opting to postpone the cruise to a future sail date, there are important rules and policies to be aware of before you call in to change your booking. There is no indication yet why these specific ships have had their sailings cancelled.

The original plan was for Serenade of the Seas to go through the Suez Canal in May. This isn't the first Royal Caribbean cruise to have changes made to avoid the Middle East. A rise of attacks since October 2023 on commercial ships in the southern Red Sea and Gulf of Aden by the Houthis has greatly impacted tourism in the area. Royal Caribbean has been forced to cancel a cruise due to the conflict in the region of the Red Sea. Instead, by cancelling the voyage altogether, Anthem of the Seas can move directly from Southampton down the western coast of Africa, ultimately a more fuel efficient and faster way to move the ship from Southampton to Dubai. Holland America and Princess noted that they were working with the United States and Canadian governments in hopes of salvaging some part of the 2021 cruise season for Alaska and Canada.

Just make sure to review the terms and conditions of the credit and follow the necessary steps to make the transfer. It’s important to note that Royal Caribbean has specific cancellation policies, and it’s always best to familiarize yourself with these policies before making any changes to your reservation. This will allow you to make informed decisions and avoid any potential penalties or fees. Guests booked on upcoming sailings of Anthem of the Seas may be rightfully concerned whether or not their future cruise could also be shortened, cancelled, or rerouted, but such additional changes – while certainly possible – are unlikely. To stay updated on the latest changes and policies, it is recommended to visit Royal Caribbean’s official website () and refer to their Flexible Cancellation Policy page. This page provides detailed information on the policy, including eligibility criteria, cancellation fees, and how to make changes to your reservation.

In this guide, we will explore the key points of Royal Caribbean’s policy, ensuring that you have all the information you need to navigate any unexpected changes to your cruise itinerary. Refund policies vary based on your specific cruise, but you’ll most likely receive a 100% future cruise credit or a full refund. All bookings made by September 30, 2021, for departures through March 31, 2022, can be canceled at least 14 days before departure for a 100% future cruise credit.

When either you or the cruise line cancel a cruise, any additional travel plans made through a third party must be cancelled independently. Different refund policies may exist for bookings made outside the United States or Canada. Outside the parameters of the Cruise with Confidence program, cancellation fees are charged according to the number of days before sailing at the time of cancellation. On cruises of five nights or longer, you lose 25 percent of the fare between 89 and 75 days before sailing.

Certain restrictions may apply, depending on the specific cruise package, duration, and destination. "We are carefully reviewing the recently released guidance from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and working toward resuming operations," Disney said in an announcement. "As we continue to refine our protocols for our eventual return to service, we are canceling all Disney Dream, Disney Fantasy and Disney Wonder sailings departing through June 2021." Celebrity Cruises and Silversea Cruises itineraries through May 31 are canceled. Azamara, which Royal Caribbean Group is in the process of selling, has canceled voyages through June 30.

Although our practice is to issue a future cruise credit automatically, you may instead contact us to request a refund. Refund requests must be made within six (6) months of the date the cruise was cancelled or the scheduled embarkation date, whichever is earlier. Always remember to act promptly and communicate openly with Royal Caribbean’s customer service or your travel agent. They will have the most up-to-date information regarding any available options and can guide you through the cancellation process. While canceling a non-refundable booking may not always result in a full or partial refund, it’s worth exploring potential options and alternatives to make the most of your payment. Royal Caribbean understands that circumstances can change, and they may be willing to work with you to find a satisfactory solution.

Life is unpredictable, and sometimes unforeseen circumstances arise, making it impossible or impractical to go on the planned Royal Caribbean cruise. In such cases, Royal Caribbean may offer flexibility and options for canceling or rescheduling your booking. It’s important to note that cancellation fees may apply, especially if you cancel close to the sailing date.
